Magazines

The Chronicle publishes an array of high-profile, high-quality magazines, inserted into issues of The Chronicle and distributed separately.

Our magazines include:

Adirondack FamilyOur first magazine, founded in 1996 by Sandra Hutchinson, now The Chronicle’s Chief Operating Officer. In the mid-1990s, as the mother of two young boys, Sandy saw the need for a regional publication that would include listings of events and helpful, positive editorial content geared towards our region’s active and engaged families.

Lake George-Adirondack Summer Guide. This late June magazine, our biggest, is also the summer edition of Adirondack Family. It includes a comprehensive daily listing of summertime events, plus insider advice, from our writers, the public and area schoolchildren.

Summer Dining Magazine. This late July magazine includes a huge array of reader recommendations and staff-written pieces that provide an overview of the restaurant and dining options in the greater Lake George–Glens Falls region.

Glens Falls Visitors GuideLake George MagazineQueensbury MagazineWashington County Visitors Guide and Enterprise — These magazines publish at moments of peak interest in the particular locales.
