Seeks to turn King Neptunes into hotel

Sean Quirk intends to exit the bar business and turn King Neptune’s in Lake George Village into a five-room hotel that he hopes could charge upwards of $1,000 a night.

First take on Lapper-Stec race

I regularly jog through Glens Falls and Queensbury. With my headphones in, I’m lost to the world — except I notice political lawn signs.

Lately, I’ve been struck by an abundance of Jean Lapper for State Senate signs, particularly in the Broadacres area.

Lapper says it was ‘a stunt’ to cancel reenactment over gun issue; Stec: Legal liability real

Chronicle Staff Writer Zander Frost writes: Last week The Rogers Island Visitor Center in Fort Edward said it cancelled its 18th Century Military Encampment & Battle Reenactment due to “New York State’s new gun law that restricts the carrying of firearms in ‘sensitive places.’”
