Marathon Dance paves the way for us in future

South High Marathon Dance is now a 501c3 non-profit organization. It board of directors is: Dan Albert, Tom Myott, Jody Sheldon, Gus Carayiannis, Mary Mann, Ray Ruby and Missy Smith.

A Recommendation,” from organizers of the South High Marathon Dance to the young participants, that perhaps rings true for all of us:

“A good rule of thumb? At any given time, somebody’s grandmother, somebody’s little sister, and some reporter is watching you. Don’t do anything you wouldn’t want your grandmother to see, your little sister to mimic or your parents to read in the paper.”

SHMD: $9.9 million raised in 45 years
