Arrest made in QBY Walmart shooting; Occurred after alleged road rage incident

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office announced it has arrested Adrian A. Simental, 33, of 1618 Route 9, Moreau, in connection with the November 27 shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Walmart on Route 9 in Queensbury.

Mr. Simental was arrested the evening of November 29th at his residence and has been charged with felony counts of alleged attempted first-degree assault and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon

7 arrested in alleged SGF narcotics bust

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced the “narcotics arrests” of seven people after searching a South Glens Falls residence.

They said they arrested Caitlin Pruess, 30, on November 23 after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation. She is accused of selling crack/cocaine heroin, fentanyl, and crystal methamphetatime throughout Saratoga County.

Man shot in Rt. 9 Queensbury Walmart parking lot; Sheriffs looking for suspect

Warren County Sheriff’s office reported that on Sunday, November 27 at 3:45 p.m., they were called to the Queensbury Wal-Mart at 891 State Route 9 to investigate a male with a gunshot wound to the hip.
 
The victim was transported by EMS and is undergoing medical treatment, the Sheriff’s office said.
 
Law enforcement are still working to identify the suspect.

Plight of the mama bear

Did you catch the widely circulated story about a woman who was attacked by a bear on Nov. 2 near Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont?

It said that the woman, who fortunately was not severely injured, was attacked after her dog, a Shih Tzu, chased a bear cub up a tree. (The dog was not injured.)
