Hudson Falls builder; Lake George pastor

After 45 years running Hudson Falls’s Hilltop Construction Company, Tom Albrecht, 66, retired and swapped his title of CEO/President for Pastor of 147-year-old First United Methodist Church on Montcalm Street in Lake George.

Mr. Albrecht says he’s answering a call “placed on his heart by God.”

Lake George biz: Less than 2021 but still ‘robust’

We’ve been hearing it’s not as busy this season in Lake George, or the region.

“What I’m hearing is it’s a little bit down from last year,” says Lake George Village Mayor Bob Blais. “Of course, that was our best year ever.”

25 LaRose affordable housing opens in Glens Falls
