Who’s squeezed most by tax-exempt property in their town?

At the end of the Jan. 16th Warren County Board of Supervisors workshop on sales tax distribution, Warrensburg Supervisor Kevin Geraghty said his town budget is stressed partly because of its $20-million in tax-exempt property — from the county fish hatchery and DPW facilities to the Countryside Adult Home and Hudson Headwaters’ $11-million health center.

Garrow movie draws intense interest

David Johnson puts GF Dango’s, 3 more for sale

David Johnson has listed his initial cornerstone Dango’s on Maple Street and three other restaurant bars for sale.

He’s asking $545,000 for Dango’s, the business founded by his late father Dan; $350,000 for Abbott’s Corner Grill in South Glens Falls; $495,000 for Dango’s Dugout, also in South Glens Falls; and $299,500 for Dango’s in Corinth.

Owners of [forged] to open [farmacy] at former Gold Star, 20 Ridge St.

AJ and Christina Richards, owners of [forged] restaurant in the former county courthouse in Hudson Falls, plan to open a second restaurant called [farmacy] in Glens Falls at 20 Ridge Street.

It’s the former Goldstar Catering site in the 18-22 Ridge Street building purchased by Brian Bronzino for $330,000 on Nov. 27.
