St. Mary’s school joins Adirondack League, growing sports program

St. Mary’s-St. Alphonsus Regional Catholic School — which goes to 8th grade — will play in the Adirondack League of New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Section II for the 2024-25 athletic season.

Rob Rossell and Bob Higley were having a glass of wine or more last Christmas talking about old times when they were executives at NAMIC, the medical device manufacturer that Phil Morse founded in Glens Falls in 1969.

Glens Falls again giving parking tickets; hospital friction

The City of Glens Falls has hired a new Traffic Control Assistant, responsible for enforcing parking restrictions, about a year after the prior officer retired.

Police Chief Jarred Smith said in a release that the City is in a “training and transition period” — “for both our new TCA and for our area drivers.

Music plays on at Shepard Park using tent after bandstand fire
