Wbg-LG-Bolton Wolverines went undefeated again; enter NYS Class D sectionals hopeful

The Wolverines of Warrensburg-Lake George-Bolton finished a second straight undefeated football regular season beating 5-2 Canajoharie/Fort Plain, 50-26, on the road last Friday.

Last year the 8-0 Wolverines lost in the Class C state semifinals. This year they want to advance further.

They’re in Class D now and are ranked number three in New York State.

Hot race for Washington County Clerk

Stephanie Cronin of Kingsbury was twice elected Washington County Clerk as a Republican, but she seeks a third term as a Democrat after the Republican Committee instead endorsed Lisa Boyce, of the Town of Easton.

Glens Falls breaks ground ‘Market Center’ on South Street

Wielding gold-painted shovels, Glens Falls Mayor Bill Collins, State Senator Dan Stec, State Assemblymember Carrie Woerner and other officials broke ground Friday afternoon, Oct. 20, on the $5 million Market Center on South Street.
