Congress hopeful plans free MMA in Glens Falls

Anthony Constantino, the CEO of the Sticker Mule business in Amsterdam, announced he will host and pay for a “FREE Cage Wars event at the Glens Falls Cool Insuring Arena on February 7th, 2025.”

Asked about it, Arena executive director Jeff Mead did not confirm it’s happening.

Planning Board unanimously OK’s Patten’s Washington Square

The Glens Falls Planning Board on Monday unanimously approved Chris Patten’s plan to raze a pair of two-story houses on Glen Street and a one-story office building on Harlem Street to create Washington Square encompassing two new three-story apartment buildings and a fitness center.

Glens Falls City Hall’s new entry awning, paid by ARPA $$

“Yes, that is something new in front of City Hall,” wrote the City of Glens Falls on its Facebook page.

The new entrance awning was funded from the $12.4 million Glens Falls received from ARPA — the federal government’s post-Covid American Recovery Plan Act funds.
