Glens Falls names school superintendent

Glens Falls City School District announced their new superintendent on Tuesday.

Glens Falls said Dr. Krislynn Dengler will succeed Paul Jenkins who retires in June after 11 year in the post. Dr. Dengler will start on July 1 and becomes the district’s first female superintendent, noted the school press release.

Lake George School announced “its intent to appoint John Luthringer as Superintendent of Schools at a special meeting of the Board on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 3:15 PM. Luthringer currently serves as the Director of Instructional Technology at the Queensbury Union Free School District.”

Isabelle Perkett, LG student, 17, in kidney failure, needs transplant

What $8.35-million buys on Lake George
