Saturday’s sunrise on Glen Lake sure was a pretty sight. More than 180 ice anglers turned out for the Glen Lake ice fishing derby, and conditions couldn’t have been better. Six-plus inches of ice allowed anglers to fish just about anywhere on the lake, and more fish were caught this year than at any of the previous derbies.

Kyleen Wade is opening a second location of her Finders Keepers Glens Falls consignment shop on the “Million Dollar Half-Mile” in the Adirondack Outlet Mall.

She’s planning a soft opening this weekend.

The Aviator Restaurant at Warren County Airport said Monday that it is closing for the winter.

Contacted for comment, owner Rich Schermerhorn said he plans to reopen “right around Memorial Day, when other restaurants up here open for the summer.”

Chef Denver Grover tells The Chronicle she is not staying at The Aviator and that she is looking for another opportunity.
