SGF: Mom of girl attacked at high school files lawsuit

Tara Edwards, the mother of the 14-year-old girl who was attacked in September 2018 during lunch at South Glens Falls High School, is moving forward with her lawsuit against the school district.

Attorney Bill Nikas filed a complaint in Saratoga County Supreme Court on Oct. 16th, effectively putting the school district on notice that a lawsuit was being filed.

Stony Creek’s Frank Thomas likely to chair Warren County Board

Bolton Supervisor Ron Conover says he won’t seek a new term as chairman of the Warren County Board of Supervisors. Stony Creek Supervisor Frank Thomas the county budget officer for the past seven years, shapes up as his likely successor.

Halloween rain wreaks havoc; Lake George rose 9.5 inches overnight

The Halloween night wind and rainstorm that dumped up to five inches of rain in less than 12 hours caused downed trees, power outages and numerous road washouts in northern Warren County as creeks and rivers jumped their banks.

Hague was particularly hard hit, with County Route 8 closed for several days, and other roads washed out.
