Plans have been scrapped to open the restaurant “gaslight” in the former Bistro Tallulah space at 26 Ridge Street. Building owner Charles Mineo is now looking to lease the first-floor restaurant space, with the chef and staff intact.

Matt Funiciello signed a contract Friday to sell the 19 Exchange Street building housing his Rock Hill Cafe to Chris Patten and his wife Sara. Mr. Patten, 34, is the South Glens Falls native who is redoing the century-old former hotel building that housed Mikado at the corner of Glen and South Streets in Glens Falls.

Elizabeth Miller has paid $500,000 to purchase the three-story, 15,000 square-foot building at 15-25 Park Street. It’s across the street from Mrs. Miller’s Park Theater and Doc’s Restaurant.

She bought it from Halcyon Properties, Inc., which is owned by members of the Lebowitz family.

The building is assessed at $228,000.
