Ex-MSNBC host Ratigan joins Congress race; draws Dem fire; 2 hopefuls exit

Former MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan declared his Democratic candidacy for the 21st District Congressional seat held by Republican Elise Stefanik.

Two other Democrats dropped out of the race — Greenwich Town Supervisor Sara Idelman and Tanya Boone of Granville.

Habitat ReStore store in Moreau is a big hit

ReStore — the Habitat for Humanity home store on U.S. Route 9 north of Northway Exit 17 in Moreau — opened on Oct. 2 and hit the ground running.
