Owners of Tres Mijas food truck to open Bay St. eatery

Tres Mijas, the popular Mexican food truck owned by Mike and Jenna Fernandez of Glens Falls, is opening a brick and mortar location, downtown at 21 Bay Street in the Rogers Building.

Glens Falls pursues major nature preserve off Sanford St.

The former Glens Falls Tennis and Swim Club is envisioned as the centerpiece of an ambitious wetland preserve and recreation park off East Sanford Street near Quaker Road.

State Ed chief: SGF Supt. Orr acted in ‘bad faith’ transferring PE teacher to grade school

Michael Music has taught physical education at South Glens Falls High School since 2006, and received tenure in 2009.

Model Railroaders & Chapman plan ‘semi-permanent’ 1889 Glens Falls Trolley layout

The Upstate Model Railroaders club is working with the Chapman Museum to build a working model based on the single-track trolley line that ran up Glen Street in 1889.

“This will be a semi-permanent layout at the Chapman museum,” Railroaders spokesperson Forest Bevins tells The Chronicle.
