DEC proposes to allow smelt fishing in LG

No ‘woe is me’ in Otto Miller

Otto Miller, the 18-year-old Queensbury High grad paralyzed from the waist down in a fall from a third-story roof in Maryland, is now at the Shepherd Center spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation facility in Atlanta.

Massie’s in SGF sold

Chef and Queensbury grad Jonathan Greenwood has purchased Massie’s, the venerable Italian restaurant at 69 Main Street run by the Russo family since 1929.

“We’re giving it a little bit of a facelift now, and will reopen on Friday, Jan. 29, at 4:30 p.m., for dinner,” said Mr. Greenwood, 31, when interviewed on Tuesday morning.

Bethels sell 132 Glen St. Bistro; Rocco’s Italian-American buys

Rocco Ientile, who owned Rocco’s Pizza shops in Fort Edward, Queensbury and Corinth, will open Rocco’s Italian-American Bistro at 132 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls.

Mr. Ientile said he paid $225,000 for the building that formerly housed Kevin and Patty Bethel’s 132 Glen Bistro. There are also two rented apartments upstairs, he said.
