Adirondack Tree Surgeons of Wilton is sponsoring NASCAR driver JJ Yeley in this Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series at Talladega Superspeedway.

Ft. Edward cancels Chili Fest, cites Dept. of Health requirements

The Fort Edward Chamber of Commerce cancelled this weekend’s ninth annual Chili, Chowder and Brews Festival, citing Department of Health edicts too stringent to impose on the community members who typically provide the food.

Gordon: GF will retain state hoops tourney for 2017-19

It won’t be official until the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Executive Committee votes on Oct. 22, but Glens Falls will keep the boys’ basketball tournament at the Civic Center for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

GF Civic Center will keep food service in-house

The Glens Falls Civic Center’s contract with Ovations food services expired yesterday, on September 30. As of today, October 1, the Civic Center is bringing its concessions in-house, director Jeff Mead says.
