Appellate court backs Kitchens’ Assembly Point home, by 4-0

A Ballston Spa couple appears to have won its three-year fight to build a 3,200-square-foot home on a landlocked, hillside double lot at Assembly Point on Lake George.

Mayor: City’s insurance will pay to fix Civic Center’s facade

Work being done by Rozell Industries to temporarily weather-proof the section of Glens Falls Civic Center facade that fell last week is covered by the City’s insurance policy, Mayor Jack Diamond said Tuesday.

LG Olive Oil Co. buys Glen St. antiques bldg., will open in GF

Robert and Carmela Mastrantoni have bought the 179 Glen Street building housing Poor Richard’s Antiques, next to Gourmet Cafe, and plan to open a second location of their Lake George Olive Oil Company by September.
